Snake Typing Game
Steer a hungry snake with your keyboard. Every clean word moves you closer to the food.
Defend your ship from a slow-motion asteroid storm. Every rock carries a word; start typing one to lock on, finish it to fire. Waves get denser and faster the longer you survive.
Asteroids drift down from the top of the screen, each with a word underneath. Type the first letter of any word to lock onto that rock, and its remaining letters turn gold. Finish the word and your ship fires a laser that removes it. If a rock reaches the bottom you lose one of three lives.
Early waves send small rocks with short words. As your score passes each threshold the game adds a wave: more rocks at once, longer words, slightly faster falls. The pressure builds gradually, which makes this a favorite for pushing your reaction speed without the chaos of a pure arcade shooter.
Lowest rock first is the obvious rule, but the better habit is clearing short words during quiet moments so the screen never crowds. Locked on the wrong target? Finish it anyway if it's short; switching costs you a re-read. This game rewards calm triage more than raw speed, which is exactly the skill fast typists lean on in real work.

An arcade shooter where the trigger is your keyboard: falling asteroids carry words, and typing a word completely fires your laser at that rock.
Type its first letter to lock on; the rest of its word highlights. Your keystrokes then apply to that rock until you finish or it lands.
Yes. Waves scale with your score: more asteroids on screen, longer words and faster falls. Wave one is friendly to slower typists.
